Progressive Neighborhood Project Special Meeting

April 14, 2018 @ 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Round Table Pizza
Elm Shopping Centeer

———–If you are lured to have pizza this day, enjoy but please have your lunch completed before our meeting starts———–

Have you been a participant in our Progressive Neighborhood Project or would like to be, this is the meeting for you! We will also have other opportunities for engagement. There will be something for everyone.

We are lucky to have Neal Morgan, Coaching Director for WOW*, provide his expertise at this meeting. Though he is focused on certain target districts throughout the state, he has a lot of autonomy and wants nothing more than to be helpful to efforts in CD4 and 1.

Neal will be working with past and future PNP volunteers to work on how to maximize our contacts with voters, engage new volunteers, and form an energized core team.

He spent last week on a swing through CD8, 25 and 39 – – with very very productive small group (10-12ppl) house parties comprised of Indivisible, Swing Left, Dem Club leaders and a number of brand new activists. Neal worked on best practices and creating cultures around volunteer recruitment and retention, how to make the most of voter registration efforts, how to develop strong and bonded teams that will sustain quality work in the months ahead. His discussions created a lot of confidence and energy –

Neal was also born and raised in Nevada City, went to Sierra College, and gets back up north to visit friends and family very often -” I suppose I’ll take any chance to leave the Bay Area ” teases Neal. He was a volunteer organizer with two Obama campaigns.
